Divorce & Child Custody/Support

Going through a divorce and child custody fight can be extremely exhausting, both mentally and financially. Child custody, child support, and property division issues can be extremely complex. If you find yourself in a divorce proceeding, please contact an experienced attorney to handle your case.

Child support is calculated pursuant to the Idaho Child Support Guidelines.  The Guidelines take into account the gross income of the parties and then apply a dollar figure for child support.  The parent having primary custody will receive child support based on the Guidelines amount which is then adjusted for health insurance premiums, child tax dependency exemptions, and in some cases child care costs.
